On April 13, 105, Taiwan and the United States jointly organized the Zika Test International Training Camp, and the 12 countries in Southeast Asia cooperated to strengthen the prevention and control of the Zika epidemic situation in the Asia-Pacific region.

In response to the threat of Zika virus, China and the United States held the "Zika Virus Test and Diagnostics International Training Camp" for three consecutive days starting today (April 13), introducing the Zika virus, dengue fever and typhoid fever three-in-one rapid test kit for the first time. In the group, three kinds of mosquito-borne infectious diseases can be quickly tested within three hours, and will be listed as an important domestic inspection tool in the future.
The seminar was held under the "Global Cooperation and Training Framework" jointly signed by Taiwan and the United States. It is the first training course for the diagnosis and diagnosis of Zika virus in Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia. The purpose is to improve the regional epidemic prevention capacity and attend VIPs including health benefits. Minister Jiang Binghuang, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Rong Rongda, Director of the US Taiwan Association, Mei Jianhua, and Vice President Chen Jianren.
In the study camp, three experts from the United States and Japan came to Taiwan as lecturers. Among them, Dr. Xie Wenru from the US Department of Disease Control was the first expert on pathological diagnosis of Brazilian cerebellum, Dr. Tadao (Dr., National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID), Japan. Shigeru Tajima) is the first expert in Japan to successfully isolate Zika virus. The US will also introduce the Zika virus, dengue fever and typhoid fever three-in-one rapid test kits to strengthen the testing capacity of laboratories in various countries.
Domestically, on January 10 this year, at the airport, the first case of Zika virus was intercepted and the case was transferred. This year, as of April 10, a total of 1,549 cases were tested. There were no confirmed cases. The SARS Testing Center has been equipped with serum, molecular biology and virus culture testing techniques. The test results can be obtained within three hours at the earliest. After the introduction of the three-in-one rapid test kit, three mosquito-borne diseases can be tested simultaneously.
After the study camp, after Ebola, MERS-CoV and dengue fever, China once again cooperated with the United States to organize an epidemic prevention conference. This time, 25 laboratory experts or pathologists from 12 countries including Australia, Bangladesh, Fiji, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam came to Taiwan to participate in the process. The virus's testing and diagnosis skills can effectively improve the prevention and control of regional infectious diseases, and establish multi-party cooperation with the international community to strengthen global health security and jointly prevent the global threat of infectious diseases.
