In accordance with the "Global Cooperation and Training Framework" signed by China and the United States, the "International Research and Development Laboratory for Enterovirus Test and Diagnostics" will be held for four consecutive days starting today (23), and new south-facing national public health officials and laboratory personnel will be invited to report on enterovirus. Inspect the relevant training courses. Enterovirus 71 broke out in Malaysia in 1997 and in 1998, causing multiple cases of serious illness and death, and subsequently continued to pose major public health threats to China and Asia-Pacific countries. In addition, in the United States in August 2014, a large-scale enterovirus D68 epidemic broke out, causing severe acute inability tonic myelitis and even death. There are similar epidemics in the world.

Under the "Global Cooperation and Training Framework", since 2015, China and the United States have jointly held the MERS Molecular Testing and Diagnostics International Workshop, the Dengue Fever International Symposium and Consultation Expert Meeting, the Zika Virus Test and Diagnostics International Workshop and Dengue Fever/ Training courses such as Zika/Quick disease differential diagnosis international study camp. In addition to teaching the diagnostic test methods for enterovirus molecular diagnostics, the workshop conducted technical exchanges with the EV71 rapid test reagent developed by the CDC and the senior laboratory inspection officials of the participating countries. It is expected to help participate. The country quickly diagnosed the infection of enterovirus 71 to prevent the spread of enterovirus.

In addition to our experts, the camp includes 15 countries including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam and the United States. A professional came to Taiwan to participate, and was chaired by the Chairman of the Office of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Director of the International Laboratory, and the Enterovirus Laboratory Specialist of the National Institute of Infectious Diseases of Japan, to jointly improve the diagnostic and diagnostic skills of enterovirus to enhance regional infection.
